Unretiner is a free Mac application that was developed with the sole purpose of helping you easily resize “@2x” or “-hd” cocos2d images with very little effort. This small tool can prove to be quite useful, especially if you are a iOS developer and you want to test non-retina devices before exporting it from Photoshop.

Using the lightweight program is very easy and all you have to do is to drag-and-drop the desired images directly into the interface. Furthermore, you can either do that for one file at a time or you can convert entire folders in a matter of seconds. Keep in mind that this application only supports images in .png .jpg .tif and .bmp format.

Once you have selected and dragged the desired images that you want to convert with the help of Unretiner, simply choose the location where they will be exported and easily adjust their sizes or perform any other modifications that you see fit without any problems whatsoever.

Other than that, not much more can be said about Unretiner. This application comes with a friendly and stylish interface and the lack of any menus or settings keeps the job of converting your @2x and -hd images as easy and as fast as possible.

Hence, if you are looking for an easy-to-use Mac tool that can help you convert your @2x and -hd cocos2d images so that you can resize them, then the Unretiner is a good choice.
