TouchCopy is a Mac program that enables you to transfer files from your iPhone, iPod or iPad to your local folders or iTunes library. The application comes as an alternative to using the iTunes utility to back up your iOS files to your computer.
This tool might come in handy if you lost the contents of your iTunes library and wish to restore it by importing the data from your iOS device.
TouchCopy is compatible with multiple iOS versions, allows you to transfer various types of files, and comes with a search tool and an audio player. You can use the built-in search utility to immediately find the files you wish to transfer to your iTunes library or local directories and pre-listen files before launching the backup process.
The app also enables you to back up your iOS messages, contact details, call logs, Calendar data, etc.
TouchCopy immediately transfers the selected data to your Mac or iTunes library. However, it doesn't provide you with the same speed when it comes to analyzing the contents of your iOS device. Furthermore, the app occasionally runs slow, especially when accessing the Preferences panel or scanning the connected iOS gadget.
Another thing you need to consider is that TouchCopy doesn't provide you with an option to transfer data from your Mac to your iOS device. This feature is available in many other iOS file managers designed for Mac.
With that being said, I don't think it's worth buying this app for your Mac. You can spend the same amount of money on a more effective and feature-rich app.
Copy diverse media files from iPhone to Mac/ iTunes directly, backup SMS, MMS.
Transfer all the files from your iPad to Mac local disk without losing anything.
