TopHat Folders Menu Lite 1.2

TopHat Folders Menu Lite gives you access to your favorite folders. The application lets you add your favorite folders to a menu for quick access.

You can add as many folders as you want. You can add regular folders or entire volumes to this menu. When you click on one of these folders on the TopHat Folders menu, a Finder window will be opened for that folder. But you can also browse your favorite folders from the menu. For example, my Mac's home folder was automatically added when I first launched this app. Now I can simply open the menu, move my mouse over my home folder, and a new menu with all the folders within my home folder comes up, if I hold the mouse pointer over another folder, all of its subfolders will be shown. This app doesn't display files on the menus; only folders and subfolders.

Another interesting feature of this application is that it knows which folders you use most often, and it automatically adds them to the menu. You don't even have to be actively browsing that folder for it to be added. For example, when I took a screenshot with the application running, it detected that the Desktop folder was used (that is where I save screenshots). And it added it to the menu. Of course, you can choose not to use this feature, or to limit it to a specific number of folders.

In conclusion, TopHat Folders Menu Lite works like a charm and it gives you quick access to your favorite or most-used folders.
