Tidy Up 4.1

Tidy Up is a Mac application that comes in handy when you're dealing with a large collection of photos, music files or videos.

By working with the aforementioned utility you can find and erase unnecessary file and folder copies from your computer and reclaim space on your local drives.

The program features two scanning methods: Simple (with basic scanning filters) and Advanced (with dozens of scanning filters). Nevertheless, any Mac user can handle Tidy Up as the app comes with easy to configure settings (even in Advanced mode) and a very intuitive interface.

An important advantage is that the tool immediately scans any selected drive or folder. Even when selecting a multiple scan filters and a large-sized drive Tidy Up quickly finds (if there are any) the duplicated files and folders.

Another thing I like about this program is that it offers you the ability to preview or pre-listen found files. This way, you can be sure you don't delete the original file or folder instead of the duplicate.

All in all, Tidy Up proves to be a smart addition to my collection of Mac applications. The utility is very easy to handle, comes with plenty of useful features, and is affordable.
