Spotify Menubar is an application that allows users to assign global keyboard shortcuts to the play/pause, skip forward and skip back functions in Spotify. This utility also provides the option of having miniature controls in the menubar. The SIMBL plugin uses the keybinds defined in the app and only applies them when Spotify is launched, meaning Spotify Menubar does not need to be open constantly.
