Rebelle is intended to create artwork that seems to have been painted in watercolor and acrylic. The application’s interface is not too different from those of other painting tools, which is quite convenient in terms of flattening the learning curve.

The application comes with a complete set of painting tools. In this respect, there are wet tools, such as watercolors, acrylics and Ink Pen. Likewise, you can use dry tools, including Pencil, Pastel, Marker and Eraser. Luckily, there is a complete set of brushes and you can even create customized ones. Moreover, it is possible to regulate water content and tilt the canvas to generate additional effects. This work can also be completed with the help of the Blend and Smudge tools as well as the Blowing simulators.

One of the best features of Rebelle is its ultrarealistic paper types, which complement the painting tools to create hyper realistic effects. Finally, it is good to know that Rebelle supports working with layers. In this respect, it is possible to duplicate or merge layers, and luckily, 23 Photophop blending modes are supported.

Once you have finished your painting, you can share it with others in two ways. One of them is saving the artworks to a local folder in formats like PNG, JPG, TIF, BMP and REB. The other way is to upload them to the developer’s Cloud gallery.

All in all, the real potential of Rebelle can only be seen from the artwork it can help you create, which tells much more than whatever I can say with words.
