QuakeFinder is a convenient program for finding, analyzing, and joining Internet multiplayer Quake servers. Features include a well-honed user interface with a Mac look and feel; powerful and intuitive live filtering and sorting so you can sift through hundreds of servers; the ability to extract new servers from Web pages, text files, and your Mac's clipboard; the ability to utilize custom Quake modifications; and Web site list management. QuakeFinder also makes finding responsive and populated servers for multiplayer "fragfests" a breeze. Version 1.5 is a major upgrade. It adds player listings, server rule lists, reverse DNS lookups for server addresses, contextual menus (under Mac OS 8), cursor key navigation, time-outs for listed servers, filters for X-Men and Malice total conversion games, and a noticeable increase in game speed.
