PhotoOne makes the task of searching for photos easier. The application scans the directory you select, searches for images, including the subfolders, and displays the results in a panel you can easily browse.

The application is very easy to use. Before loading the desired folder, you can apply filters in Preferences for most accurate results . The utility allows you to narrow the search by size and formats. Therefore, you can choose among six most common formats to search for, including JPG, PNG, GIF, PSD, PDF, and TIFF. In addition, you can filter your pictures by four size presets. Unfortunately, you can't select a custom size range. Scanning by image resolution isn't available, unless you purchase the pro version. The tool supports adding one folder at a time, preferably a small-sized directory. If you choose to load a large folder, the app may crash. However, once the scan process is over, you can easily check how many pictures are under a folder and in all its subfolders. You can preview the photo you select in the preview panel, display it in a new window or open it in Finder.

In short, PhotoOne is a simple and fast image finder and previewer. Without any additional options, such as removing photos, identifying duplicates, or moving files from one folder to another, the tool does nothing more nor less then identifying images in the selected folder.
