Mystery of Shark Island is a simple hidden-object game in which you were left stranded on an island and your job is to find a series of objects which come with every wave. Every time a wave leaves, you will have a number of objects, mainly shells, which you need to find as quickly as possible in order to get bonus points. Some objects may be hidden under rocks or may be covered with dust that you need to clean first. As you play the levels, you also unlock objects which are clues that help you figure out a way to get off the island.
If you need help, you can use the hints, which are unlimited but take some time to recharge. The objects may be shown with the image or with the silhouette. There are also a series of power-ups that you can collect to find the objects more quickly and easily. The game includes two modes: Story and Arcade. In Story, you will advance progressively as you are told the story behind the game, while in Arcade mode, you will play a different hidden-object game per level, but you cannot decide which one you wish to play. For me, the game is pretty easy since I had no trouble finding the objects, so it may not be suitable for advance players. The game offers simple but nice graphics, nice sounds, and pleasant music.
All in all, Mystery of Shark Island is a nice and simple hidden-object game for beginners which will keep you busy for a while.
