Mussel is the spiritual successor to flash game Stalwart. Both are games by Jonathan wrapped around a music track already created by David. Both are loose rhythm-action games, that emphasise musical empathy over 'press this button on the beat' mechanics. Whereas Stalwart was made to fill a void left by a redundancy, Mussel is a palette cleanser
