MusiMoods is a simple Mac program designed to help you create playlists based on song genres. This utility might prove to be of good use if you're dealing with a large music collection and wish to build a playlist containing only a certain type of tunes.
After you import the music folder you wish to sort, the application starts scanning the loaded songs. On the upper side of the program you will find various colorful buttons which help you organize your new playlist. For example, there's a Dinner button. Once you click it, the utility reveals all songs from the loaded folder that are suitable for listening while having dinner with your family or friends.
You can control the built-in player by using various hotkeys (they are listed on the main menu of the app -> Player panel). Also, this utility gives you access to a built-in search tool that helps you immediately locate the song you wish to play.
Unfortunately, the program occasionally fails to sort songs. For instance, a Drum&Bass song was added to the Chill playlist. Another thing that bothers me is that it supports a small amount of audio formats (MP3, M4A, and AAC).
Personally, I don't think it's worth buying this application mostly because of the aforementioned flaws. However, you can test the program for free, check if it organizes your music according to your needs, and then decide if you want to buy its full version.
