MinuteTimer is a simple application that allows you to count the time while you are doing another activity. This program is intended for students, cooks, or anyone who needs a simple timer. The default timer is for a minute, but you can change that from the Preference menu, and select the number of minutes and seconds you need. The timer will draw a color circle as time passes by. The color of the timer is random and cannot be customized. From the Preference menu, you can also customize the second ticker sound (there are three options available), 10 seconds warning sound (two available), and end buzzer (there is a extensive list to choose from). Sadly, you cannot include hours, so if you need an hour, put the equivalent in minutes.
Unfortunately, the timer cannot be minimized to the menubar, and you cannot adjust its size, which is considerably big. The timer can be paused and reset whenever you want. The program is really simple and easy to use, although it isn't very attractive.
To conclude, MinuteTimer is a simple timer that can help you remember to do any task, but it really doesn't include much more. The good thing is that it is completely free.
