MenuPop is a system utility that gives you quick access to menus. Mac users often praise the menubar.

I do, too. It is a great way of storing and sorting information. The menubar is always up there, and every application that you run will use it. You can access some system features from there, and quit applications, open files, etc. The only problem with the menubar is that it is up there, and at times, you might be doing something away from it. This is not a big problem unless you have a huge display connected to your Mac. Then, it is really a problem, because you have to look up and move the mouse a long stretch. MenuPop is a nice way to solve this problem. The application lets you access the menubar menus anywhere on the screen. When you use the provided hotkey or assign a mouse button to MenuPop, and you call the app, it will display a pop-up menu. For example, if you assign the scroll-wheel button to MenuPop and click it, a menu will appear with all the options of the menubar. This way, you won't have to look up at all. Each menu will be expanded when you move your mouse pointer over it.

One of the great things about this app is that it is customizable. From the "Preferences" window, you can change the size of the fonts and you can decide which menus you want to use. For example, you can opt not to show the "Apple" menu.

In my testing, the application performed quite well. The menus were displayed instantly and I didn't notice any lag or slowness.
