Review

MacUtil is a program that provides you with numerous settings to help you customize your Mac's appearance and performance. This application brings you options that aren't available within Mac's System Preferences menu and helps you immediately configure the Finder and Dock settings according to your needs.

By working with this tool you can change the view of your dock from 3D to 2D, add separators, display a recent apps stack, and many other. You can always reverse these dock appearance modifications by selecting again the enabled options.

A good aspect about this program is the fact that it helps you get rid of annoying warnings when working with Finder app. For instance, each time you try to open an application, a dialog window is prompted for confirmation. MacUtil lets you disable this bothersome event.

Another advantage of this tool is that it can also prohibit disk burning, disable Dashboard if necessary, quit print app once printing completes, etc.

To conclude, MacUtil is a simple yet effective application that lets you change the settings for your Mac. The program offers you plenty of settings for Dock and Finder, immediately applies the new changes, and comes without a price tag.
