Mactracker is a very complete information repository about Mac computers. The application provides very detailed information about every Apple computer ever made. It also includes other products, like routers, servers, phones, multimedia players, etc. In total, there are 532 devices listed. To the left of the application are all the categories that can be used to browse products. You can either look for a product by year or by device type. There is a button that reads "This Mac" that gives you information about your own computer.
I love the Mac Mini, and I always wanted one, so that was my first choice. I clicked on "Desktops" and then "Mac Mini". On the right part of the screen 10 different models appeared. I double-clicked on the latest non-server edition, and a new window popped-up with all the information about it, including introduction date, model number, initial price, support status, processor, memory, original OS, etc. There was also a picture of the computer. There is an interesting button that reads "Startup Chime", when you click on it, the startup sound of that computer will be played. This is a great feature for nostalgic users.
