Jihosoft Video Converter for Mac features a straightforward interface with simple to configure output settings and provides you with quality results within moments.
Similar to other video converters, this program provides you with an integrated video player and an area where you can add the input videos. On the bottom side of the screen you can choose the preferred output profile and configure advanced output settings if necessary (select bit rate, resolution, audio encoder, etc.).
Another good aspect is that the app features several video editing options. You can trim, crop, watermark your videos. The program even allows you to add visual effects to your movies.
Over the years, I tested many video converters. Jihosoft Video Converter for Mac isn't in my top 10. The main reason is the fact that it lacks an option to burn clips to DVD folders or ISO files. Another thing I don't like is that you cannot select individual output profiles when batch converting videos.
Hence, I think you can find better solutions when it comes to converting video files on your Mac. But you can try the program if the aforementioned disadvantages don't mean much to you. You won't lose a dime if you put the trial version to the test.
