This program is exactly what its name implies: a Mac application that enables you to convert songs or audiobooks from your iTunes library. By converting your tunes you also get rid of the DRM protection you get for each audiobook or song you purchase from the iTunes store.
The utility features an intuitive interface where all you need to do is to import the iTunes files you wish to convert, select the preferred output options, and click over the "Convert" button from the bottom side of the interface. Macsome iTunes Music Converter will immediately export the audio files you need to the destination folder you selected.
An important advantage is the fact that the application preserves the quality of the original files. Another great aspect is that it can convert as many audio files as you need, without slowing down your Mac in the process.
My only issue with this program is that it supports only 4 output formats: MP3, AAC, FLAC, and WAV. Hence, formats like OGG, M4A or AIFF aren't supported.
Cutting a long story short, it's worth buying this application only if the aforementioned flaw doesn't mean much to you. Otherwise, I'd suggest you try a different utility for converting your iTunes songs and audiobooks.
It removes DRM protection of any movie you purchased from the iTunes store.
