Info updated on:

iSuper DVD Ripper is an application that lets you extract DVD content and convert it into stand-alone video and audio files. This way, you can enjoy your favorite movies and DVD recordings on a wider choice of media players. Besides the standard DVD disc, the application also supports DVD folders and ISO files.

The program is very intuitive and easy to manage. Once you open it, you are provided with the most logical steps that you need to follow to have the DVD content optimized for well-known media players. You just need to load the DVD content, select the output profile, and enable the conversion. However, you should know that most output profiles are locked in the free version of iSuper DVD Ripper. You can neither output by device name, nor rotate, apply effects, crop, or add a watermark. The only editing options available for free are trimming a video into segments and merging clips into one file. Though displayed on the main window, the screen recording is also blocked if using the free version of the program. Yet, you have the ability to tailor the encoding settings of the few output profiles available for free. Previewing the files works fine. You have the chance to take snapshots from the preview window and save the images as JPEG, PNG, and BMP files at a computer location you define in Preferences.

To conclude, iSuper DVD Ripper is a simple application with ordinary ripping and convertion options. The output profiles are limited to the most common video and audio formats. The tool is intended for home use, though there are plenty of similar apps with more features on the web and still available for free.
