Info updated on:

iPaint is a basic drawing tool for Mac OS X. The application offers simple drawing tools so that you can create original paintings.
The program provides a clear-cut and straightforward interface that allows you to manage the application with ease. It opens with a small dialog that lets you determine the size of the image you wish to create. You can either choose among multiple size presets, or insert custom width and height dimensions. From the drop-down menu you can activate a handy toolbar that includes all main drawing options. This way, you can enable with ease the features you need for creating your project – namely, you can insert text messages and different shapes, draw straight and curved lines, control the line width, cut image areas, use brushes, and select the painting colors. The image you create supports being flipped horizontally and vertically. In addition, you have the chance to select your favorite colors for both the background and the foreground of your project. The resulting image can be tagged and saved as a PNG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, and TIFF file at a computer location you determine.

Providing basic drawing tools, the application is plain-simple and easy to manage. Unfortunately, you may experience frequent blockages and unexpected app closing.
