Helix Server preferences are stored in an XML formatted plist (OS X's preference file format) named "com.qsatoolworks.helixserver" found in the user's ~/Library/Preferences/ folder. This file can be edited with any XML editor. If you have installed Apple's Developer tools, you have their Property List Editor application and double clicking on the Helix Server preference file should launch it automatically. When a Helix collection is opened the first time after a crash, it presents a series of dialog boxes letting you know about the problem. Since the collection is not available until these dialogs are dismissed, it is sometimes preferred to turn these dialogs off altogether.
