Guns of Icarus is a really great original game for the Mac. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting. Your job is to ferry goods with an airship, and as it is to be expected in times of peril, there will be people who will try to get what is yours at any cost. In this game, you have to defend your ship by manning guns on it and shooting down your enemies from the skies.
There are single-player and multi-player modes. I only played the campaign mode. In this mode you choose the route that you want to take by clicking on it. Each segment of the route is a level where you have to survive a specific distance. Pirates will try to shoot at you and steal your cargo. It is your job to man the mounted guns and shoot them down before they get too close. The game uses a first-person perspective. It is basically a first-person shooter. You have to run around the ship to both sides and to the front and back to shoot the enemies. After each level, depending on how you did, you will be awarded points, which you can use to purchase new weapon systems and repair your ship.
In short, I thought that Guns of Icarus was a great game. I particularly like the fact that you can play it on your web browser before you decide to buy it. The graphics are good and the game is fun.
