Info updated on:

MOX is a graphical user interface for the Folding@home client on Mac OS X. It provides a clean and simple way to monitor progress, view project descriptions, receive notifications via Growl, start, pause, and stop the client, view a schematic display of what is being folded, configure the client, and add clients over the network.

MOX is a simple monitoring GUI for the client of Folding@home for Mac OS X. Since there is no official GUI available at the moment for Mac OS X, you can use MOX. It's clean, simple and easy to use! Key features: It will show your current project and its progress; It will show the project descriptions; If you've installed Growl, MOX will notify you when you're a step closer to completion; Start, pause and stop Folding@home; View a (simple!) schematic display of what you're folding (something like Jmol, but minimalistic); Configure the client within MOX; Add clients over the network; etc... How to install: 1. Download MOX; 2. Open the dmg file and drag-and-drop "MOX.app" to your applications folder; 3. Run MOX.app - if the Folding@home client isn't installed, MOX can do it for you.
What's new in this version:
Completely rewritten; You can monitor multiple local clients; You can monitor multiple remote clients; Drag-and-drop a folder into the list to add a client; Added a customizable toolbar; Option to pause local folding when on battery power; Program integration: local folding is paused when using particular programs; User defined model: view a schematic display of a project; MOX can check for updates;
