Firefox is one of the most popular web browsers on the market, providing numerous helpful features and quick speed to millions of users worldwide. With its help, you can browse the web without slowing down the performance of your system or losing personal data in the process.
Even though Mac OS X comes with a default web browser (Safari), Firefox still beats its Apple competitor, with its high-speed and efficient privacy features. I use Firefox on a day-to-day basis, both at work and at home. At office, I work with multiple tabs often (at least 10 opened) and, since the release of this version, never had issues regarding high CPU usage or slow page loading speed.
Another great aspect about this utility is that it provides you with an efficient way to browse privately. This feature isn't new, but it's been perfected with time. The app automatically deletes online details, such as login credentials, history or cookies as soon as you close the browser tabs or windows.
Furthermore, Firefox provides you with the ability to sync stored content, such as bookmarks or history, across your media devices, like smartphones and tablets.
It's safe to say that Firefox is a great solution for browsing the web on your Mac. It provides you with a wide variety of useful features, works 100%, and is free.
