Fill and Cross. World Contest is a puzzle game for Mac that provides you with countless hours of gameplay. The app features numerous nonogram solving missions where your goal is to reveal the images hidden on the board by marking cells according to the column and line indicators.
This game brings you nicely drawn graphics and animations with a fitting background music. You can create as many player profiles as you like, play the levels in fullscreen or windowed mode, disable sound effects if necessary, and much more.
Fill and Cross. World Contest also comes with an integrated help guide that might prove to be of good use to beginner players. You also have access to a helpful tutorial during the gameplay of the first missions (you can disable the tutorial if you want to).
My only dilemma is: why bother gathering coins during gameplay if the app doesn't let you use them to purchase the right to make more mistakes than regularly allowed (1 per level) or to restart a specific level as many times as you need to (you need to use real money to buy items from the Shop window). To me it doesn't make any sense. However, your lives refill automatically (pretty fast, 5 minutes per life).
To conclude, I'd say it's worth trying this app on your Mac as long as you're nonogram solving fan or wish to learn a new type of puzzle games.
