Fast Translator! is an application designed to help you translate any text you want from and into a wide range of languages. It seems that the utility is powered by Yandex. Translate, the Russian web service intended for text and web page translation.
The tool has an easy-to-use interface that anyone can manage without difficulty. Having no Preferences to adjust or additional settings to enable, all you need to do is type in or paste your text into the application, select the input and the output languages, and press the Translate button. Depending on the target language you have chosen, the translation may be more or less accurate. Yet, what is really unacceptable is that you need to upgrade to the pro version so you can copy the translated text. To put it differently, besides the fact that you waste disk space by installing the app when you may use online translation alternatives, you can neither reuse the translated text unless you purchase the program. Not to mention that Fast Translator! also requires Internet connection to perform the translation.
All these being said, the utility of this program is questionable. It would have been useful if it could work offline.
