Evernote is more than a note-taking utility for Mac. With its help, you can also set reminders, store your important files, organize your project ideas, share documents or to-dos, and so much more.
To use this program you would need to create a personal account on the Evernote webpage or log in to your Google account.
You can define various shortcut keys to immediately create a new note or search a to-do list, organize your entries according to your needs, and share your ideas with other people.
One of the things that bother me about this program is the fact that it supports a small number of output formats when it comes to exporting notes to your local folders. Another bad aspect is that not all features are available for free. For instance, the free edition of the tool lets you sync the stored content between only 2 devices (Plus and Premium editions - unlimited amount of devices), doesn't let you access your notes if you're not connected to the Internet (Plus and Premium editions don't bring you this disadvantage), etc.
Still, in my opinion, it's worth giving Evernote a try as it brings you many useful advantages that come in handy to anyone who is dealing with a busy schedule on a daily basis.
Pros

Cons
- Supports a small amount of output formats when exporting notes
- You need to pay to have access to all features

A nice note taking application. It is easy to use and I enjoyed working in it a lot.
