Epson Hardware is excellent, the software is great at the actual digitalization of the picture.
It is however a bit unreliable, and not very well put together. Changing scan size is wonky (changing scan size resets your settings!) you can't do multipage PDFs anymore, and it's full of small annoyances like that that end up making the software mediocre.
As the scans themselves ARE better quality compared to other scan software, I do have to get it some stars.
