This Mac application enables you to find and permanently delete duplicated files from your computer.
Besides helping you locate and delete similar files from your Mac, this program is also capable of finding and removing unneeded duplicated directories from your computer. So, the program is more than its name implies.
All you need to do is to import the folders you wish to scan, select the duplicated files you wish to remove from your Mac, and that's it. There's an option in the Preferences panel to automatically delete the selected duplicates, leaving no recovery option once the job is complete.
The only disadvantage is that you cannot save scan results for later, a feature which might come in handy if you scan large-sized directories and wish to resume duplicate preview and removal later.
Still, Duplicate File Finder comes with a very reasonable price, works perfectly, and is simple to handle. I'd say it's worth giving it a try.
