DjVu (pronounced déjà vu) is a file format that usually contains scanned documents holding text content combined with line drawings and colored images. This program is, as its name clearly states, an application that enables you to open and read DjVu files on your computer.
The utility doesn't feature any editing tools, it only lets you zoom in or out the the pages, select text content and copy it to Clipboard, and add bookmarks to your favorite sheets. You can also choose between four reading modes (Single Page, Single Page Continuous, Two Pages, and Two Pages Continuous).
Another good aspect about this Mac tool is that it enables you to print or export the input files to PDF or TXT format directly from its interface.
Nevertheless, the app fails to preserve the original layout when exporting DjVu files to TXT format. Furthermore, you need to make an in-app purchase in order to have access to all features (for instance, the ability to read the entire input file).
To summarize, this app does exactly what's being stated on the homepage of the developer: lets you read DjVu documents. So, I'd say it's worth trying this program on your Mac if you ever need to open DjVu files on your computer.
iNMR reader has all the functionalities of the iNMR application with the same version number, but the user can't save the modified documents.
