The application is very easy to use. In fact, it automatically starts scanning your system without requiring to push a button. The process is quite quick and you are allowed to examine the results before making any decision. For this purpose, you can navigate the interface by picking one of the tabs, which are appropriately labeled. Then, it is possible to know about the size of each item and, therefore, how much space you would recover by erasing it. Moreover, you can decide whether you want to keep it or remove it.
Although the tool inspects many of the areas where unnecessary data is likely to be found, it does not give you the opportunity to add custom folders or specify file types, for example, TMP.
All in all, Disk Doctor Pro is an effective way to recover disk space and consequently improve your system’s performance. Luckily, there is a trial version that allows browsing the results but not deleting them. It can be upgraded to the full version via an in-app purchase.
