Nowadays, data loss is a common problem. You can accidentally delete your important files or your local drives can get damaged or reformatted.

One solution would be to use a data recovery program, such as Data Rescue, to recover the lost files from your Mac.

The application has simple to configure settings and require minimum computer knowledge. All you need to do is choose the internal drive or connected storage device and select the preferred scanning mode (Quick Scan, Deep Scan or Deleted File Scan). Once the scanning process is complete, the program gives you access to a list containing all found files.

A good aspect is that you can preview the found files before launching the recovery process. This feature comes in handy if you need to be sure you're restoring the correct pictures and avoid dealing with duplicated files afterwards. After you select the files you wish to recover, the app lets you choose the destination folder for the restored data (you need to select an external drive for file restoration). The utility takes a few moments to scan your drives and retrieve the selected data.

But the most important advantage is that the program works with Mac hard drives even if they operate partially or fail to mount. In addition, you can use this application to easily clone drives.

To conclude, Data Rescue is one of the best file recovery apps for Mac. It's easy-to-use, works perfectly, and helps you recover various types of files.

Don't say it's freeware if they charge you to repair files... It's called Data Rescue, not Data Scan Your Files For Free Before We Charge You A Stack of Cash To Actually Do Something About It...
