Dangerous Mines is a very enjoyable minesweeper game which includes multiple modes. In case you don't know this type of game, the objective is to find all the gems (mines) by following the numbers you uncover which indicate the number of adjacent gems present. To uncover numbers you use the left mouse click and you use the right mouse click to put flags where you think there are gems. The available modes include Classic, Free Edge, and Gauntlet.

The Classic mode is the one described above and the whole board is covered with tiles. In Free Edge, you are given some help, since the outside border of the board is already cleared. In Gaunlet, you need to play a series of continued Free Edge games and you will be given some time to find all the hidden gems. For every gem discovered you are given points, but if a gem explodes or if you place a flag incorrectly, you will lose points. What is more, all the modes offer three difficulty levels and there is an extra mode, which allows you to chat with other players as you play, but you won't be able to play against them. The game has excellent graphics and sounds, but no music.

In short, if you are looking for a complete game with multiple variations of the traditional Minesweeper game, then Dangerous Mines may be a good choice.
