Craigs List Anywhere is an Adobe Air app that lets you browse Craigslist from your Mac. It is also available for Windows and Linux. It is basically a desktop Craigslist client, but with the added benefit that it stores your bookmarks and saved searches in the cloud. This means that you can start a search, save it to your favorites and then access it on your iPhone.
If you already have Adobe Air on your Mac, the installation is quite easy. After the app is installed, you will be able to sign up for an account. You don't need one to search and browse Craigslist, but it is necessary if you want to save your searches and add bookmarks.
During my time with it, the app performed quite well. I found it very easy to navigate. The first thing that I had to do was select an area for my searches. After doing that, I could simply type in a few keyboards to start a search. There are a few filtering options available, like price, postings with photos, search only in the title, and whether you want postings from owners or dealers.
Each posting shows a brief summary and snapshots if pictures are included. Once you click on a search result, the posting will be opened in full screen, and you will be able to see full-size pictures, and get contact information for the owner of the product.
In conclusion, this is quite a nice app for anyone who browses Craigslist. It lets you save three searches, add three favorites and search in up to two cities at a time. If you want to do more than that, you can get the "Pro" version, which has no usage limitations.
