Compose lets you stitch various images into a new one. In this regard, the tool applies fade and blend effects to combine different parts of the source pictures seamlessly. Moreover, it lets you adjust colors, tone, brightness, shadows and edges until you get the expected results. Unfortunately, the accompanying help documentation is very poor, but there are some video tutorials if you need answers to your questions.

In terms of features, the app cannot compete with large photo enhancement suites. However, it compensates for this lack being much easier to use. A new blended image can be created in just a few steps. First, you need to load the pictures you want to put in the background and the foreground. Similarly, you can also load a logo image. Next, for each of them, you can pick a different fade shape and select the region you want to use.

Good news is that everything you do is automatically reflected on the previewed image. This facilitates adjusting parameters like blend and fade as well as warm and cool colors both independently or for all the sources. Once the resulting image satisfies your expectations, you can proceed to save it in your favorite output format.

All in all, Compose is a great way to blend various images. Luckily, it does it very smoothly, so you cannot perceive any color shifts from one image to the other. Although it is true that you can get similar results with other applications, Compose makes it significantly simpler, as you do not need to work with layers, filters and selection tools. Logically, it has some limitations, for instance, there is a limited number of images you can load. The product is available from the Mac Store at a very reasonable price.
