Rewrap or Transcode
By working with camera manufacturers to seamlessly parse metadata, ClipWrap is able to quickly convert MTS and M2T files into playable QuickTime files, without generation loss or transcoding. In addition, ClipWrap boasts support for transcoding to all of the popular post production formats, including Apple ProRes, Avid DNxHD, and DVCProHD.
Seamless Shots
Most file-based cameras are limited to 2 or 4 gigabyte file sizes. When recordings go beyond those limits, new files are created. Other conversion utilities can lose up to 15 frames of video when processing these splits. ClipWrap is different. By reconstructing the long-GOP format before conversion, ClipWrap ensures that you never lose a frame.
ClipWrap uses the codecs already installed by you or your other applications. If a codec you wish to export to is grayed out in the format drop down, please make sure you have it installed or contact support for assistance.
