Cinch is a simple yet helpful program designed for Mac that helps you resize windows of other running apps on your screen.
The Menu Bar utility is extremely easy to use so any Mac user can get the job done. You simply drag the windows you wish to resize to the left or right side of the screen (the windows will then occupy half of the screen, depending on which side you're dragging the windows to) or drop them to the top edge of your monitor to display the windows in full-screen mode.
In my opinion, this app brings a small amount of window management features. For instance, it lacks an option to set global hotkeys (for arranging all windows efficiently on the screen, resizing windows, etc.). Since you have to pay to use this program on your Mac I'd say it should provide more capabilities.
With that being said, it's up to you to decide if it's worth spending your money for this application. Cinch is very simple to handle, sits on your Menu Bar without using many CPU resources, and immediately resizes the windows of other running apps.
Pros
- Simple to handle
- Helps you easily resize windows on your screen
- Uses a small amount of CPU resources
