Chicken Jump is a an educational game for small kids. The actual game resembles Doodle Jump and other similar games in which you have to jump from platform to platform to make it as far up as you can without falling.
The gameplay is very simple. You click on the chicken to start the game, and control the lateral movement using the arrow keys. In other similar games, the difficulty increases as you play, but in Chicken Jump the platforms are always easy to fall on and although there are needles and poison that fall from the top of the screen, they never kill you. They do reduce your score if you hit a couple of them in a row and they push you down a bit, but not too much.
The only bad thing that I can say about this game is that when it is not running in full screen mode, you can't resize the window, and the bottom part is blocked by the dock, which makes it hard to read what is down there. Once you are playing, this is not a problem anymore, though.
Pros
- It can help kids learn the alphabet
- Cute graphics
Cons
- Can't resize window and some parts are blocked by the dock
- Not too challenging, even for kids
