Bricks of Egypt is a nice arkanoid game with an Egyptian theme. Like in any arkanoid, the objective is to destroy all the bricks to proceed to next level. You will use a paddle and a ball for this task, and if you don't manage to catch the ball and it touches the ground, you will lose a life. All the levels are different, as they include a different bricks layout and backgrounds. There are also different types of bricks and some are harder to break than others and require multiple hits in order to be destroyed. Some bricks may also have power-ups and power-downs hidden in them and they are released when you destroy the bricks. You should try to catch the good ones and avoid the others. You can consult the list of power-ups and power-downs in the Help menu, so you can know them beforehand.
The game is divided in level packs which include several levels each and they all share a theme. For every pack, you can select the difficulty level you desire. Some packs require you to complete other packs in order to unlock them. The game offers simple graphics but attractive, nice sounds, and suitable, but a bit repetitive music.
All in all, Bricks of Egypt is an interesting and enjoyable arkanoid game that will surely keep you playing for a long time.
