Basecamp is a program designed to aid individuals to better organize their daily activities and thus increase their productivity. It can serve users who work in various areas, like finance, sales, or marketing, but also designers or just simple students.
It comes wrapped in a fresh and modern interface, with nicely crafted tabs and well-polished lines. It's nicely colored and the navigation through the menu is done with ease. However, the way windows are dispersed can make the end-user confused, at least at first use.
As to its functionalities, Basecamp introduces lots of interesting features. It comes with a time scheduler that can be used to set important dates or subscribe to events in multiple services, like iCal or Outlook.
Furthermore, it integrates a 'Group chat' so you are able to easily chat with anyone inside it, ask questions, share files, or spreadsheets.
Apart from those mentioned above, it has a 'To-dos' feature where users are able to create lists with tasks that must be completed, and where they can assign items, set dates or discuss projects.
All things considered, Basecamp is a cool tool to use if you want to better manage your time and improve your productivity. The price, however, seems a bit too high.
