Barcody is intended for generating barcodes that you can insert on various types of documents or use as they are. One of its best advantages is that it supports something called “LinkBack technology”, which lets you edit the barcodes created from within other applications. The tool supports a very wide range of barcode types, including but not limited to Code 39, Code 93, Telepen, EAN, Ident Code, Codabar, Code 128, MSI Plessey, OPC, PZN, UPC E, without forgetting the extremely popular QR Code.
Barcody has a straightforward interface and, fortunately, it also comes with a tutorial-style help document that will leave no question unanswered. To create a new barcode, you need to pick the desired type first and then fill in the requested parameters. This requires entering a meaningful name as well as additional contents received from the corresponding barcode authority, which it is a shame cannot be done automatically. Most of the times, it will not be necessary to modify the values appearing by default for the rest of the parameters.
It is excellent news that Barcody lets you create multiple barcodes as a single operation. For this purpose, it comes with a Sequence Editor. It is also quite convenient that the barcodes you have created by either means can be exported in various formats, such as EPS, PDF, JPG, GIF, PNG and TIFF, which guarantees their compatibility with some of the most widely used applications. Additionally, your barcodes can be e-mailed without much effort. more
