AppleTrans is a text editor specially designed for translators, featuring online corpora which represents "translation memory" accessible through documents. AppleTrans helps you localize Web pages. See the User's Guide, which is available from the Help menu, for information on getting started with it. AppleTrans is not an officially supported Apple tool. Use this software at your own risk.
- Open English page in AppleTrans
- Let it find the sentences which need translation (as opposed to html/php markup)
- Translate each sentence by using your language skills, save the translation into the AppleTrans dictionary (called a corpus) and move on to the next sentence.
- Save saves the bilingual AppleTrans file and the Corpus
- Export to html/php!When the English version is updated you can use the "corpus" to translate all which was translated before and you only need to translate what is new.
