AnyTrans is a program designed for iOS gadget owners who wish to transfer data between their media devices (iPhone, iPad or iPod) and Macs. This capable utility can also be used for backing up the files within your iPhone or cloning the content from your iPod to an iPad.
When you open AnyTrans app on your Mac, it automatically launches iTunes in the background (it's hidden in your Dock) and starts scanning the contents of the connected iOS device. Once the scan is complete, the program offers you detailed info about the gadget and lets you choose between various tasks (data transfer to and from device, clone gadget, etc.).
You can back up various types of files from your iOS device to your Mac, copy documents from your computer to your iPhone or iPad, and much more. But the thing that caught my attention was that when transferring data from Mac to device, the app automatically converts the media files to formats compatible with your gadget.
The only aspect I don't like about this Mac application is that it occasionally crashes when backing up data from iPhone to computer. Nonetheless, this unfortunate event doesn't occur often.
Briefly, AnyTrans proves to be a smart addition to your collection of Mac programs if you own an iOS device and need to transfer data between the gadget and your computer. The app is very intuitive, immediately completes the data transfer, and comes with an affordable cost.
