Info updated on:

PlusMaker converts disks in place, without the need to go through the tedious procedure of initializing each disk with the new format, and then restoring each disk from backups. PlusMaker allows Mac OS users worldwide the ability to convert their existing disks regardless of the language and writing script they are using. Once their disks are converted, users will be able to enjoy all the benefits of Mac OS Extended format, such as the increased number of allocation blocks per disk, thus decreasing the allocation block size. Smaller allocation blocks mean substantially less wasted disk space at the end of each file. More allocation blocks mean users can have more files on their disk because the available space can be more finely distributed among a larger number of files.
PlusMaker 1.0.2 is currently shipping and available for purchase online at Alsoft's web site. It is also available as a free update for existing PlusMaker 1.0 and 1.0.1 users online at Alsoft's web site.
What's new in this version:
This updater updates versions 1.0, 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 of PlusMaker to version 1.0.3 for complete Mac OS 9 compatibility.
