The Adobe Download Assistant is an AIR application used with Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 trial product downloads to improve download reliability. When you download a Creative Suite 5.5 trial product, you are prompted to install the Adobe Download Assistant to start the download. (If you have already installed the Adobe Download Assistant, the download starts automatically.) After the trial software is downloaded, Adobe Download Assistant automatically starts the product installation.
