Adobe DNG Converter is a utility that enables you to convert raw camera files to the DNG format. The program provides you with a quick way to get rid of incompatibility issues between your digital camera photos and the Mac utilities you are using for opening or editing the pictures.

This Adobe tool supports a wide variety of raw file formats. It can convert pictures that were taken with the latest cameras models, from brands like Fujifilm, Casio, Canon, Samsung, Leica, Sony, Panasonic, Nikon, and many others.

All you need to do is to import the directory storing your raw files, configure the output settings according to your needs, and the program will immediately convert your images to the DNG format. You also have access to several advanced settings (compression option, Camera Raw compatibility, etc.) and have the option to choose the preferred name pattern (for example, photo name followed by a date).

The only thing I didn't like was that the utility ran a bit slower when importing the raw files. However, it immediately converted the loaded files, without slowing down my Mac or losing their original quality during the conversion process.

Hence, this program proves to be a reliable solution for converting raw camera files to the DNG format. It's effective, simple to handle, and free.
