The tool is so good that some professional photographers trust this software to sort and process their digital stills. The only thing ACDSee can't do is take your photos for you.

I've used ACDSee for over 10 years now. I started with the version 3.0 for Windows and now it is 12! ACDSee Pro for Mac is just as reliable as it is for Windows. After you get to know the program, you will find that sorting and cataloging your photos could not be easier with this program. In fact, it would be much harder to sort through my thousands of pictures without this program.

Whenever I find a picture I need to fix (exposure, tilt, red eyes, etc), ACDSee can always help as well. It includes powerful photo editor. It can also work with RAW images too. For casual photo enthusiasts there are a lot of automated settings exist for each of the effect (balance, exposure, noise), but the professionals can always tweak those settings to their liking and their professional opinion. Since I needed red-eye reduction and rotation tools of the editor only, I do not have the authority to talk about the quality nor could I try to judge the quality of the tools I never dealt with, but I am sure they are great since the software is still in development hence there's demand for it.

Overall, to sort through your pictures, you might want to consider checking out this program. It will make your life easier, I bet. There is no need to have an additional photo editing program installed on your computer, since ACDSee can take care of just about anything in regards to your photos, well except, and I repeat myself, take photos for you.
