4Media MPEG to DVD Converter lets you convert and burn your MPEG files to DVD. It is a DVD authoring tool that lets you convert your MPEG, MPG, M4V, H.264, MPEG-4, VOB and DAT files. You can also choose between tens of different menus that you can add to your movie.
Graphically, the application looks like the video converters and rippers by 4Media. The only difference is that at the bottom, you will see burning options, and at the top-right corner, the menu settings. Other than that, you have the same video player and good design of all the 4Media video conversion apps.
Using the app is also very easy. The first thing you have to do is add a supported video file. After this step, you can proceed to the burning phase, but there is much more that you can do. There is a video editor that lets you trim your video clips, crop them, add effects to them and even add watermarks.
If you have a file with a SRT subtitle file, you can also add it, and the subtitles will be visible in the DVD movie. You can change the style of the font and the position of the subtitles on the screen.
All in all, 4Media MPEG to DVD Converter is a nice DVD authoring tool. It has a great design and plenty of tools to create a great-quality DVD movie. Although the format support isn't great per se, it does support some popular formats.
