4Media iPod to Mac Transfer is an iPod management software. It allows you to transfer your iPod's content back to your Mac.

With it, you can copy music, video files, eBooks, ringtones, and podcasts. You can also copy videos and music from your Mac to your iPod, without the need to use iTunes, which is ideal for people who don't like iTunes.

When you run this app with a supported device connected, it will show a summary of the device in its main window. It will tell you how much space is used and how much is free, and the type of device that you have connected, along with its serial number and format. On the left side of the window, you will see all the available categories, which vary according to the device that you have connected. In my case, I tested this app with an old iPod 5th generation, and the only categories available were Music, Movies, Photos, and a few playlists that I had configured on my iPod. By clicking on those, you will see the iPod's music, video and photos content. And you can easily copy files by checking the box next to them and clicking on the "Copy files to Computer" button.

In my testing, the app recognized my iPod quickly and all the features worked fine. This app should also work with iPhones, but the iPads are not supported.
