AnyMP4 DVD Ripper Pro helps you convert the contents of your homemade DVD discs to other popular formats, which you can play on a myriad of devices and players. The tool’s interface is almost identical to those of other video converters. So, you will have no difficulty using it if you have tried any of them before.

The application lets you browse the contents of the loaded disc and choose the chapters you wish to convert. Likewise, it is possible to add files in a wide array of video and audio formats. Moreover, in case they contain various audio and subtitle streams, you can pick your favorite ones. It is also possible to preview each chapter’s contents and take snapshots of them.

Fortunately, the tool comes with a long list of presets, including general video formats, such as MTS, TS, M2TS, TRP, WTV, FLV, RMVB, AVI, WMV, MKV and SWF. Many of these profiles are conveniently described in terms of the devices that support them, like iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. This way, you can be sure there will be no compatibility issues.

Like many other similar tools, AnyMP4 DVD Ripper Pro comes with a set of basic editing features. Thus, you can use it to cut segments from a clip, crop a given screen region, rotate the image, add watermarks and apply effects. Likewise, it lets you simulate 3D video from 2D footage.

All in all, the wide range of supported input and output formats allows AnyMP4 DVD Ripper Pro to do much more than just ripping discs. Even though I understand the reasons why the tool does not allow ripping DRM protected discs, it is a pity that it also refuses to process some home-burned discs. This product can be bought from the Mac Store.
