YouTubeHunter is a Mac utility that enables you to download and convert clips from various video sharing websites, such as YouTube, Vimeo, VEVO, DailyMotion, etc. This application comes in handy if you need to fetch video tutorials, movie trailers or music clips with just a few clicks.
The program comes with a built-in search tool that helps you immediately find the videos you wish to download to your Mac. After you enter the keywords for your search, the application displays a list of suggestions. You can preview the found clips directly from the tool's interface and decide which one you wish to download and convert.
Another advantage is that this utility supports batch processing. This feature might prove to be of good use if you wish to download multiple clips at the same time.
Sadly, YouTubeHunter lets you choose only between two output formats: MP3 or MP4. Another downside is that you don't have access to advanced output settings. To be more exact, it lacks options for selecting the preferred frame rate, bit rate or audio quality level.
However, this program comes with a reasonable price and is very simple to use. So, I'd say it's worth giving it a try first and then decide if you want to buy its full version or uninstall it from your Mac.
